I hope that this email finds you doing well. I just wanted to remind all of you to be looking out for the forms that are coming home to help out with Fall Festival. It is on October 6th. It is a great event that the PTA puts on every year.
This week we have been learning:
Math: We are learning all about Decimals
Reading: We are still moving our way through Esparanza Rising and Responding to Literature
Writing: We just started Opinion Writing- In fact we are writing a paper on Fidget Spinners in the Classroom
Social Studies: Because it is constitution week we are learning about the constitution and the amendments to the constitution
Science: Landforms
Over the break the kids know that they have 50 minutes of IXL that they need to complete. They also have a poster over the Bill of Rights that was assigned Thursday and is due next Tuesday. I suggested to the students that if they have time working on it would be a great ideaa.
